Picture Windows do not open at all . They are either by themselves or in a combination with casement or bay/bow windows
Single Slider Window
A Single Slider Window is made up of one sash that is fixed, while the other one moves side to side.
Double Slider Window
A double slider window is made up of two sashes that move sideways.
Single Hung Window
Single hung windows operate in a vertical manner. One sash is fixed, while the other sash moves up and down. It also has the capability to tilt into the room for effortless cleaning.
Double Hung Window
Double hung window is made up of two sashes that have the ability to move up and down and tilt into the room for effortless cleaning.
Casement Window
Casement Window is a slim, tall window that opens by the use of a handle. This window has the ability to open either to the left or to the right.
Awning Window
Awning Window opens by the use of a handle that pushes the bottom of the sash out.
Hopper Window
Hopper Window opens by the use of a handle that pulls the top of the sash in.
